It takes a team to send missionaries!

Sending missionaries is not a one-person job; it takes a team. From the initial decision to the actual sending, a collective effort is required.

Many teams are involved in sending a missionary, including churches, financial supporters, prayer partners, and the team at ECM.

We, the ECM team, play a central role in sending missionaries, we coordinate placements, provide training and support, and ensure the missionary's well-being throughout their journey. From first conversations to the missionary finally working on the field, we ensure that the missionary is equipped and prepared to carry out their work effectively; so that they can make an impact and spread the message of hope and love.

"While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, 'Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.' So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off." (Acts 13:2-3 )

We invite you to partner with us this Christmas.

Would you prayerfully consider supporting the team behind our candidates and missionaries? Your gift will enable us to fulfill our vision to 'making Jesus known in Europe'.

We have the vision to increase the number of new workers we send each year, and next year, we are on track to send new missionaries to Romania and Austria. We also have others in the pipeline to go in the future.

Would you help us with the increasing costs we are incurring by making a donation to ECM Aotearoa-New Zealand? Your gift could help us:

  • Walk with and care for our missionaries on the field
  • Support and prepare new missionaries following their calling to go
  • Build deep partnerships with churches and donors
  • Uphold good stewardship and commitment to best practice in our operations.

It is our privilege to serve those who give themselves to mission in Europe.

Thank you so much for your partnership!

May you have a blessed Christmas, and may God continue to bless us and his global mission.
