DONATION RECEIPTS
ECM NZ can now issue donation receipts to people who give towards our General Fund (i.e. donations to ECM NZ as an organisation). The reason ECM NZ can now issue donation receipts for our General Fund is because of approval received from IRD (Inland Revenue Department). All donations of $5 NZ or more, from New Zealand-based donors, given for NZ work (money spent within NZ) from 1 Jan 2025 are now eligible for a donation receipt, including the General Fund and our NZ staff. Full contact details must be provided by donors.
General giving is incredibly helpful to ECM NZ as an organisation. These donations support ECM NZ to keep doing our core mission — sending Field Workers to Europe, connecting and equipping the NZ Church to send workers to Europe and discipling young people for mission.
Donations to our European Field Workers or projects in Europe are not eligible for a donation receipt because their ministry is overseas and Gospel-focused. These donations will be issued a non-tax-credited receipt.
