Fruit in Its Time
Wednesday 07 October 2026 14:10 In southern Spain, gospel fruit often takes time. Years of faithful love, patient discipleship and steadfast service may seem slow — until one day, you see what God has been growing.
Danny and Damary have spent years serving in a place where people do not usually come to faith overnight. Relationships take time. Trust is built slowly. Conversations happen over meals and coffee, through Bible studies, discipleship and everyday life.
Damary has been especially blessed to build relationships with the women around her. Some are growing significantly in their faith and wanting to go deeper into God’s Word. She even prepared a small devotional booklet to help them continue growing in Christ.
And now, there is Aurelia.
After losing her non-believing husband, Aurelia began to recognise God at work in her life. On 29 March, at the end of a sermon, she gave her life to the Lord.
It is a precious moment — and a reminder that gospel ministry often calls for patience. Danny and Damary have faithfully loved, served and discipled people over many years, trusting God to work in His time, and He has brought forth the fruit.
Aurelia’s story is especially significant in a traditionally Catholic region, where seeing people come to faith in Jesus is not something that happens every day. It is worth celebrating — not simply because of one decision, but because of the God who has been at work through years of faithful ministry.
Fruit in its time.
Please pray for Aurelia as she begins her new life with Christ, and for the women who are growing in their relationship with Jesus. Pray that God will continue to use Danny and Damary’s faithful presence to draw more people to Himself.
